Position Description

Title: Quality Assurance & Improvement Specialist

Location: Family and Community Supports

Schedule: 40 hours per week (52 weeks per year). Hours are flexible to meet the needs of the program. Must assume beeper responsibility on a rotating basis.

Person Responsible to: Director of Quality Assurance

Grade: 11
Education & Experience:
Preferred Bachelor’s Degree with two years residential management experience or Associates Degree with five years residential management experience. Computer skills preferred.


Summary:
Leads the region in measuring and improving corporate compliance, adherence to governmental regulation, customer satisfaction and quality assurance and improvement outcomes. Trains and supports teams in the areas of consumer planning processes, positive approaches to behavioral concerns and other tasks related to effective management of residential supports. Leads process analysis and improvement in the areas of community involvement, incident reporting, and all quality assurance and improvement efforts. Responsible for assuring knowledge transfer regarding data findings, themes and process improvements across the residence program.

Duties and Responsibilities:

· Leads the region in measuring and improving Corporate Compliance, adherence to government regulation, customer satisfaction and quality assurance and improvement outcomes.

· Train and support teams in the area of consumer planning processes, community involvement, behavior management and other tasks related to effective managing of a residence.

· Leads process analysis and improvement in the areas of incident reporting and all quality
assurance outcomes.

· Assist the Regional Team in analyzing the strengths and improvement opportunities in a team.

· Participates as a member in the Residential Services Administrative Team.

· Reports to the Sr. Coordinator on an as needed basis to evaluate work performance
and team effectiveness.
Pay: Starting at $16.50hr
